| Description: | High end landscape and estate management firm servicing Fairfield and New Haven counties, is seeking a detailed oriented individual to join its team to coordinate all purchasing and inventory activities. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work within a system, organize, and communicate well. Responsibilities Include: •Select and pick up material and equipment from established vendors - Manage material costs for profitability - Source new vendors •Collaborate with Account Managers and Salesman on material choices •Meet regularly with Director of Operations to discuss needs and timing •Coordinate timely delivery of material •Make sure company always has what it needs when it needs it Your skills should include: • Strong horticultural background • Knowledge of material costs and grower pricing • Experience operating machinery and equipment used in a landscape operation • QuickBooks and computer experience • Work order and stock inventory knowledge • Experience managing a field staff of 2 or more Valid CT driver’s license and clean DMV record are required. This is a full time position with salary and benefits based on experience. |
