We are an expanding full service landscape company focused on quality workmanship, superior customer service, and a positive work environment. We offer lawn maintenance services and fine gardening but our primary workload is with residential design and installation projects.
We are seeking a well rounded experienced foreman to oversee landscape installation projects as well as to coordinate as needed with maintenance crews. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience in landscaping and at least 2 yrs as a foreman.
Responsibilities would include; Overseeing, training, and motivating your crew, for safe and efficient team results. Scheduling jobs , preparing equipment and materials for upcoming projects, overseeing projects from start to finish, completing minor paperwork to help with job costing and payroll. Effective communication skills with both clients and management. This is a "hands on" position, you are expected to perform the work alongside your crews and set a positive example. Winter work and great opportunities for advancement are available.
Qualifications:
2 years+ experience as foreman
MA driver's license and safe driving record
DOT Medical card, or be able to obtain shortly
Ability to drive truck and trailer combo
Strong knowledge of plant material and pruning techniques
Strong knowledge of construction techniques; grading, planting, basic hardscaping etc..
Attention to detail and a keen eye (we service some high end accounts)
Certifications are a plus but we are happy to help you in that effort.
