| Description: | Established San Diego landscape contractor in search of a full time Landscape & Irrigation Lead Estimator. Ideal candidate is someone currently employeed as a Land/Irr. estimator who feels like they are in a situation without room for career growth. Duties would include, but not be limited to the following: -Estimating landscape & irrigation projects from start to finish...takeoff through proposal stage -Bid solicitation process for subs, vendors and suppliers -Producing job packages/budgets for new projects -Producing timely submittal packages for new projects -Material sourcing and ordering of long lead items Skills/Knowledge Required: -Landscape installation knowledge REQUIRED -Irrigation experience - knowledge of pipe, valves, controller installation a MUST -Managing/training 1 or 2 Jr. estimators as company grows. -Ability to work independently with minimal oversight -Good time management skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail a MUST -Good customer relations skill a MUST. -Degree in Landscape Contracting, Horticulture, Agronomy, etc...preferred. -Computer experience required - Excel, Word, and Outlook. Prior use of On Screen Takeoff a plus Compensation: salary dependent on experience, incentive plan, company benefits and vacation. |
