Job Purpose
The Irrigation Service Technician is a hands-on position repairing irrigation for commercial and residential landscape customers as well as certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*repair irrigation systems to perform properly
*Install irrigation as needed
*Load and unload heavy equipment, tools as needed
*Schedule and monitor daily work loads
*Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
*Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings
*Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company
*Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members
*Maintain on site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors and internal customers
*Diagnose & repair controllers
*Safe operation and maintenance of the following equipment:
*maintain inventory for service vehicle.
Trenchers, tamps, excavator, locators, multi meter, fault finder, boring equipment, pressure washer
Tillers, aerators, slit seeders
Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools
On occasion wheel tractors
Trencher, chain saw, skill saw and others
*help in other divisions such as installation or floriculture as needed
*help with snow removal in the winter months
Requirements:Valid NC Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Class A license.
1+ years experience in installing or servicing irrigation systems
