We are seeking a seasoned lawn/turf care professional to help us provide the following services to our customers: • Organic, hybrid, integrated, and all-nutrient lawn care • Seeding and new lawn services • Soil analysis and aeration • Weed control, insect control and grub management • Custom blend fertilization and lime application • Lawn disease treatment As a Lawn Care Specialist, your responsibilities will include: o Monitoring, diagnosing and treating insect, disease, weed, other conditions on clients’ lawns o Selecting the most appropriate product or treatment to be utilized for each problem o Maintaining excellent customer relations by providing comprehensive, thorough information about their landscape o Completing diagnostic reports o Representing SavaLawn in a professional manner You should have experience running liquid and granular application equipment. This is a position in which extensive field time will be spent diagnosing problems and treating properties. This often requires heavy lifting in various weather conditions. Ideal candidates will have: • A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience • At least 2-3 years experience in turf applications and maintenance • Ability to diagnose turfgrass problems • Ability to anticipate what will occur under specific conditions (i.e. soil conditions, climate) • Must be able to work independently and be self-directed • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Possess a valid driver’s license in your state • Possess the appropriate Pesticide Applicator’s License(s), or be able to obtain one We offer: o One of the best equipped and trained teams in the industry o Competitive compensation and advancement opportunities o 401(k) Savings Plan o Health Care Benefits o Flexible Spending Plan o Paid Holidays/Vacation/Sick Days o Excellent Continuing Education Programs |
