Coast Landscape Management, a growing commercial landscape management company, is seeking a Business Development Representative for its Sacramento division. We are seeking an individual with commercial landscape and horticultural experience with the ability to build long term customer relations. Business Development Representative responsibilities would include researching, identifying, and delivering profitable business opportunities with new and existing clients through customer relationships, cold calling, client presentations, referral generation, cross selling and networking. He or she must develop close customer relationships and thorough understanding of client needs. Also, he or she would develop and execute sales and business development plans, prepare bids and sales contracts, and deliver presentations.
Successful candidate requirements are 5 – 7 years proven experience selling contracts in a landscape service industry. Candidate should have strong computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Candidate must be organized and capable of multi-tasking in a fast paced environment. Candidate must also possess strong work ethic, confidence, be punctual, and have the ability to meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license with ability to pass company insurance requirements is required. BA/BS in Horticulture, Business, or related field strongly desired.
