| Description: | Tree Amigos Outdoor Services is currently seeking an experienced commercial maintenance supervisor. This position reports directly to the Manager for the designated area. The supervisor is responsible for managing a crew of laborers in the area of commercial landscape maintenance. Experience required in edging, mulching, pruning, and plant installation. Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills. Primary Responsibilities: * Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the laborers at assigned locations that reflect Tree Amigos Missions and Values. This includes, but is not limited to: professionalism, quality, honesty, integrity, safety first, cleanliness, and teamwork to support operational needs. * Ensure compliance with proper processes and methods of installation and/or maintenance. Provide training for employees on proper processes and methods. * Responsible for scheduling work and employees; control of labor hours to plan; and accurate completion of time sheets for assigned laborers. * Responsible for completing daily safety inspections; ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and properly maintained; ensure assigned laborers are complying with all safety policies, procedures and processes. * Responsible for attaining quality standards on all sites and projects. * Represent Tree Amigos with clients, vendors and business partners. * Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment on job site and that encourages new ideas, teamwork, quality and both internal and external customer satisfaction. * Establish weekly objectives and clearly communicate objectives to employees and report back to Manager. * Responsible for training and development of assigned laborers. * Partner with the Manager and office team as needed to achieve and surpass goals and objectives and other duties assigned. Requirements: * Must have a valid driver’s license * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial landscape maintenance * Must be able to operate all tools and equipment needed to complete daily duties. * Possess knowledge of installation and/or maintenance processes and methods * Ability to communicate effectively * Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on all tools and equipment * Ability to train others * Bi-lingual, English and Spanish, preferred but not required * Ability to work in inclement weather * Ability to work with chemicals * Ability to perform heavy lifting We offer a competitive salary.
