We are currently seeking:
Account Manager
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers doing landscape maintenance and installation in areas such as parks and playgrounds, commercial properties, apartment complexes, municipal properties and other areas by performing the following duties:
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality services and customer satisfaction
- Develop long-term relationships with clients to ensure open-line of communication
- Schedule landscape maintenance crews and conduct site inspections to evaluate services performed
- Provide estimates for supplemental work & enhancements to improve the quality of landscape
- Responsible for monitoring operation expenses. Review financial reports & seek avenues to improve the branch’s bottom line
- Develop and coordinate plans for the efficient use of personnel and resources
- Participate in branch recruitment plan to fulfill staffing needs
- Train & mentor field supervisors and crew personnel
- Participate & conduct routine training sessions to maximize production & efficiency. Promote high standards for customer service, develop a safety culture, and create a positive team environment
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages 3-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 3-6 employees on maintenance and installation crews. Also directly supervises 10-30 non-supervisory employees.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in managing a landscape division to include maintenance service contracts
- Direct management of multiple landscape maintenance crews
- Basic understanding of budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proven success in profitable business management
- This position requires excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills
- Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
- Experience in recommending, pricing, and selling enhancements to improve the quality of the landscape
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current Driver's License.
Qualified Applicator License (QAL) attainment within 1st year of employment.*
