| Description: | INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST Cavicchio Greenhouses Inc., is a 100 year old family owned and operated farm, located 20 miles West of Boston, in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Situated on over 200 acres of land, and employing approximately 350 people annually, we supply New Englands green industry with the highest quality plants, nursery stock, and landscape materials. We are currently looking for an Inventory Management Specialist to work with and eventually lead our inventory team. This person will work directly with the Inventory Management Manager to ensure the accuracy of our quickly changing and diverse inventory. The ideal candidate for this position will have: Excellent math and critical thinking skills Creativity with resolving challenges that may be unique to certain areas and/or affect the entire company A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Inventory Management in a medium or large company. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Flexibility working outdoors as well as indoors, regardless of the weather Flexibility working in a fast paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment Experience with a computerized inventory system previously; preferably but not necessarily MAS500 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with an emphasis on MS Excel Job Duties and Responsibilities include: Ensuring that our physical inventory matches our database inventory for all inventory categories Issuing and maintaining audits on all product (purchased and produced) Reviewing inventory reports for accuracy Working with department managers to review and interpret current inventory procedures, as well as design and implement new inventory processes Cavicchio Greenhouses Inc. offers competitive pay and a complete benefits package upon eligibility.
