Position Overview
This Sales and business development representative is responsible for actively promoting company services to potential customers by developing relationships and leads, identifying needs and specifications, proposing and closing business.
Essential Responsibilities
• Responsible for developing relationships with property managers, architects, and real estate professionals as determined by the sales manager. • Responsible for managing weekly calendar of calls, emails and appointments in line with sales goals. • Responsible for identifying client needs, site specifications, budgets, and decision makers. • Responsible for working with Sales manager to produce final proposal documents, contract, and presentation materials. • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Your Skills should include:
• Experience with standard horticultural practices and requirements. • Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. • Candidate must be proficient in the use of computers and have a working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel. Be an energetic & charismatic person with a strong desire to succeed.
