Currently we are seeking a Landscape/Irrigation Superintendent for our location in the Dallas, TX area. The Landscape/Irrigation Superintendent will report directly to the Operations Manager and will direct landscaping and irrigation operations within the branch location including: Building great-looking projects Building long-term customer relationships Achieving and exceeding customer expectations Meeting and exceeding established financials goals Managing, scheduling, production and coordination of all landscape and irrigation projects and ensuring all jobs are completed within budget, to contract at or above company standards and on time. Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members, including conducting safety training sessions Recruiting, hiring, training and developing all exempt and non-exempt team members Motivation and team building Being a role model for all team members Mentoring others Career development and performance management of all team members Position will require travel throughout Texas on a project by project basis to inspect progress Requirements: Two or four year college degree in landscape construction, landscape architecture, horticulture or related field or equivalent experience preferred Must have a minimum of five years industry experience Must exhibit leadership ability and/or experience Strong verbal & written communications skills Ability to build relationships with customers and team members Must be extremely competent in both methodologies of landscape and irrigation Excellent organizational skills Solid time management and ability to multi-task Must be able to read blueprints Must be detail-oriented Safety training experience preferred Bilingual, English & Spanish preferred Licensed in irrigation preferred We offer competitive salary, outstanding benefits including 401k, health, dental and vision insurance, AFLAC, vehicle, PTO and paid holidays.
