| Description: | Alexandria-based Lawn, Landscaping & Hardscaping company looking for a highly experienced Maintenance Foreman to report directly to the Owner. The candidate should be reliable and demonstrate dependability, have a professional demeanor and appearance, and communicate effectively with clients. Candidate must be able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Attention to detail is a must. Must be production oriented. Must possess skills in planting, maintenance work and hardscape installation. We are anxious to work with recent graduates who are ready to put their classroom skills to work. The job will entail oversight of crew for, and assistance with, general gardening chores such as weeding, mulching, pruning, planting, leaf cleanup, mowing, gutter cleaning and fertilizer applications. In addition to completing your daily work order, you must also be able to identify issues on Clients properties and make suggestions for additional work. Must be able to speak conversational English. Must have previous Crew Supervisory experience in the Landscaping field. Must be able to read design plans. Must have fertilizer applicator license. Must be able to understand and enforce company policies. Valid driver license with clean driving record is required. Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills are a must. Must be citizen of USA or have a social security card with valid work visa and/or alien resident identification. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
