Nursery/Yard Manager: Stockner's Landscape is a business unit of The Stockner Group one of Central Virginia’s premier multifaceted landscape firms. Position Requirements- The primary responsibility of this position is to work with the all departmental managers/customers in facilitating the loading of plants, materials and equipment. Other responsibilities will include product unloading and receiving, inventory management, equipment management, yard cleanliness, retail/re-wholesale sales and product maintenance. Qualified candidates must be able to lift/handle safely 50-100 lbs. and willing to work outdoors approximately 90-100% of the time. Candidates must have a diverse background in nursery management.
Applicants should have: • a degree in Horticulture or relevant field experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Horticulture Plant knowledge, exceptional Leadership abilities, and the aptitude to train other crew members. • An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
