We are seeking a candidate with a professional presence and the ability to create a positive environment of accountability while maintaining an exceptional level of positive business ethics and integrity with our team members and clients alike. This position has reporting responsibilities to both The VP-landscape and Chief Operating Officer. This position will oversee all field operations and an employee base which exceeds one-hundred sixty employees. Primary responsibilities of the Director of Operations: •General oversight of all day to day operations. •Building "Team" atmosphere among all departmental managers. •Supports all departmental mangers & branch managers. •Institutes a positive work atmosphere that promotes quality, safety and delivering services that exceed our client’s expectations. •Support VP of fleet/facilities. •Supports VP of Landscape •Facilities staff meetings. •Supports overall strategic goals and strategic initiatives of the Chief Operating Officer. •Participates in strategic planning for short term goals and long term objectives. Other key position requirements include; Other key responsibilities of this position is to work with all departmental managers to insure that work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications and to the client’s expectations on client properties. You will directly manage a ten or more mangers. Overall accountability and quality control will be the primary goal and objective of this position. Applicants should have: • a degree in Horticulture or relevant field experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Horticulture Plant knowledge, exceptional Leadership skills, and a strong aptitude to train all team members. • Your ability to work effectively in a team environment is of utmost importance.
