The Davey Tree Expert Company has opportunity in the field of plant healthcare, as a Lawncare Technician. Davey is a national horticulture & treecare- landscape firm with, operations throughout the US and Canada.
Job Duties: The Lawncare Technician performs fertilization and integrated pest management services on client landscape plantings and lawns using spray and injection tools. Customer service is a key element of the position, as well as routing, product mixing and application. Turf, Weed, and shrub ID, and knowledge of turf or shrub physiology are valuable but not required, we will train.
Qualifications: Two or Four year degree in Turf, Landscaping, Horticulture or related discipline is a plus, but not required. Related past experience in turf, landscaping and as an applicator is also plus. Excellent communication skills; Specific task training provided; Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority. Valid driver’s license, Positive attitude, certified applicators license a plus where applicable. Class B CDL a plus.
Additional Information: Full time hourly positions. Compensation based on qualifications and experience.
