Davey Commercial Landscape Maintenance, has immediate openings in the field of landscape and grounds maintenance, as Landscape & Site Crew Foremen. Davey is a national horticulture landscape management firm, with operations throughout the US and Canada. MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Detroit North -- Pontiac, Michigan JOB DUTIES: Manage, direct and oversee assigned crew in execution of daily landscape work, grounds maintenance and/or mowing assignments, depending on assigned operational area and personal experience and expertise. Manage Seasonal Snow & Ice activity on multiple customer sites. QUALIFICATIONS: Two or Four year degree in Turf, Landscaping, Horticulture or related discipline is a plus, but not required; Minimum one year experience in landscaping and/or grounds maint.; Experience as a crew foreman in landscape installations or mowing maintenance operations; Excellent communication skills; Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority. Valid Drivers License is required. Class B CDL License or ability to attain it shortly-- Will be transporting crews in company trucks; Bi-Lingual –Spanish, very valuable, but not required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time hourly positions. Compensation based on qualifications and experience.
